Broughton Astley Physiotherapy Clinic is approved by all UK medical insurance companies e.g. BUPA, AXAPPP, Aviva, Pruhealth, Simply Health and Cigna.

Every patient is treated as an individual and with respect. At your first appointment you will receive a full assessment before your treatment is discussed and planned. You will be able to ask questions and be actively involved with your treatment.

You do not require a doctor's referral. We offer daytime and evening appointments and aim to see everyone promptly (a recent audit shows 84% of our patients were seen on time and the remaining 16% within 10 minutes of their appointment time). You will always receive treatment on your first visit and not just an assessment.

Every effort will be made to achieve recovery in the fewest number of sessions - patients are never pressurised into having

more sessions than they need or can afford. All appointments are one-to-one, unlike many physiotherapy clinics where the physiotherapist shares their attention between several patients at the same time. Treatment is tailored to individual specific needs and you will never be set up on a machine and left alone.

Jo very kindly came into the Theatre, on very short notice, to treat a couple of the cast who had been complaining of knee and wrist strains. After treatment and advice on exercises to help prevent the reoccurrence of the problems they both went on to give great shows.
Many thanks as we all know "the show MUST go on!"

After suffering with lower back pain for a few years, I had Jo recommended to me by my doctor, I have not looked back. It is a re-occurring problem, but I know that as soon as I start to feel discomfort, a few sessions with Jo will have it sorted.
Recently I have had problems with my neck as well, and, yet again Jo sorted it after just a few visits.
For both problems Jo has given me exercises to do to help keep the problems at bay.
Jo is very thorough, knowledgeable and has a good sense of humour, you will always come away feeling better.

Just a quick email to say a very big thanks for my recent visits to your clinic to treat my back.
The Physiotherapist sat and listened (and noted comprehensively) prior to giving any treatment which was really reassuring. After just the first visit my back was 75% better, after the second visit my back troubles had gone.Brilliant.
Right. Where's that squash court!!

Wanted to thank you for your recent help with a trapped nerve in my neck. I needed short term assistance to get me fit for skiing in just two weeks, and you provided physio, acupuncture, exercises and sleeping tips, which enabled me to have a great holiday with my son. Of equal importance however was the long term support - The "lecture" on my general posture, advice on Office Chair and Computer monitor positioning, and ongoing exercises to prevent a recurrence. In short a complete support approach, which is really appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to my friends!
